Joel Peralta Suspension Due to Pine Tar

Sunday, June 24, 2012 | 0 comments

Joel has been suspended by Major League Baseball (MLB) last Thursday, June 21, 2012 for having pine tar on his glove in their Tuesday evening match in Washington, D.C. Umpires found the sticky substance on his mitt followed by exchanges of words between the managers of Tampa Bay Ray and Nationals. Joe Maddon and Davey Johnson started to throw their sentiments in front of eyewitnesses whose been stunned by their disagreements.

However, Joel is also a former member of the Nationals way back in 2010. According to him, some of her ex-teammates approached him for their support rather than turning him down because of his illegal attempt to use pine tar to win the game. He was suspended for eight straight game as the official decision of MLB management. Furthermore, he made an appeal which can probably lessen the verdict to a few number match.

That was a hard thing to remember that your former team members can let you down showing their disrespect, right? Nobody can tell the reason why umpires started to keep up with him and because probably, someone from the other side knows something about his glove.

In addition to this report, he accepted the suspension but the lesson can remind us not to trust anyone from behind.
