The sinkhole that stunned the residents of southern Louisiana that appears few years ago are now in a possible danger. Authority are forcing these people to leave while Texas Brine Company, who is mining underground salt cavern has been tasked by the government to drill at the nearby area to figure out the cause of increasing (getting more larger in width) size of the hole which is now reaching an about 400-feet wide.
Furthermore, the sinkhole was measured 300-plus feet before but now, it continue to spread swallowing surrounding trees. The company was scheduled to make a huge well to check the cause of the other chemical spills from underground which are now visible in the surface. It was a flammable gas that can cause a disastrous explosion in a small spark spilling in environment.
Furthermore, the commercial mining company, the Texas Brine is also responsible to keep the residents away from any treats. They are working with the local police to force them to evacuate but others are showing their hesitance due to their properties.
It is possible for the nearby community to be swallowed by the ground when the dome of the depleted salt cavern collapsed. The environmental effect of the mine can now be experienced by the people living around the area aside from the chemical spills coming from the factory of plastic and pharmaceutical products.
